First trip to the scrap metal yard. We are now recycling all metals etc... and creating a "Scrap4fun" fund, all the proceeds will go for the Staff Summer Golf Events. The guys are now making sure every piece of metal goes to the scrap pile. My first time doing this and it feels great. Scrap4fun $74.75 lol!!!

New Pump Station Panel

Image
Working all day with Jose Bauza and Victor Ramos, Watertronics reps. Finally installed the panel and got it working well. Going forward we will refurbish the primer pump and motor #2 also will need to replace the old flo meter, this will enable the system to function 100% accurate. Thanks to David, Earl, Jose Bauza and Victor Ramos for all the hard work they put into this first phase of our pump station.

UPDATE....New irrigation heads on greens

Image
June 2014 update Now doing installation on greens 18,9,6,7 and 8. AND WE ARE DONE!!! Next T boxes!!! Starting in July.... We started installing the new heads on our greens. It will be time consuming giving the location of the old heads and trenching/supply line installation to correct many hydraulics issues. We will only install the heads on all greens this summer and next summer start with the wiring controls etc... As expected on the greens that already have the new 875/part circle Hunter heads we are saving 40% on water, electrical usage and labor.
